Let Me Be a Vessel of Opportunity

Updated: Aug 16

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10 (ESV).

Let my eyes see the hidden opportunities others miss—

The weary soul, the small beginning, the open door disguised as a detour.

Let my ears hear opportunity even when it whispers,

Through cries for help, through quiet ideas, through truth veiled in silence.

Let my mind imagine the unseen opportunities

New paths, restored ruins, beauty in ashes, and the world not yet formed.

Let my hands do the work of opportunities:

Work that heals, that builds, that gives dignity and unlocks destiny.

Let my feet step boldly into opportunities

Even when the ground feels uncertain or the path untraveled.

Let my life create opportunities—

Not only for myself, but for generations I may never meet.

Let my mouth speak opportunities

Over dry bones, over dreams deferred, over those who’ve forgotten their name.

Let my rest dwell in divine opportunity—

Knowing that even in stillness, You are at work.

Let my time be counted in opportunities for moments that matter.

Let my name open doors that serve others, not just myself.

Let my children deliver opportunities—

Not from striving, but from the legacy of purpose and prayer.

Let my family birth opportunities—

A home of peace, innovation, and compassion.

Let my relationships network opportunities—

Connections not of convenience but of covenant.

Let my remembrance inspire opportunity—

Long after I’m gone, may my life still speak.

Let my silence echo opportunity—

For even unspoken integrity shakes the world.

Let my words paint opportunity—

Language that lifts, teaches, and transforms.

Let my service release opportunities—

As I pour out, may others be filled.

Let my prayers direct opportunity—

Guided by heaven, not by trend.

Let my love leave opportunities in its wake.

Let my touch make opportunities feel human again.

And above all—Lord, You are my Opportunity.

Not the door, not the outcome, not the applause. You.

In You, I lack no good thing.

In You, the future is open.

In You, I become what I was made to be.
